my vote goes for bob dylan.
thats for a lot of reasons.
the issues he stood for.
the attrocities he spoke out against.
the increadibly beautiful (and timeless) lyrics which could put most poets to shame.
for being a legend in his time and an icon of the troubled latter half of the 20th century
for defending the underdog all throughout - be it the millions of nameless unfortunates or the Rubin Carters.
who's your pick? and why?
