    muhuhahaha,

    just one of the things I said somewhere.

    really speaking "percussive instruments" can be melodious - but not the rock drum set which is used normally

    and seriously I hate those drum solos.

    Any solo from any house band would do the job for me.

    And by the way melodious is a hell of a relative word. Carcass solos sound melodic to me but they might be over the top for someone else.

    Its hard to find solos which sound fast for some and melodic to others. Cryptopsy also has solos of that kind.
