    Personally, I like playing the intro picking the strings, but use the transition of D* and A* played as chords during the course of the song. Try that out too ...

    jus strum down and keep mutin the chord at some times..hear teh song number of times..ul get it easily....

    hey does ne1 know ne websites with strumming patterns on it? everytime i download a song sheet, it takes ages to work out the strumming...

    Check this from around the 3:20 mark...he explains the intro. Arpeggiated means picking each string individually rather than strumming which is usually done for chords.
