Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas - Blackmail - Intro tabs, Song Chords and Interlude tabs

THIS IS PAL PAL DIL KE PAAS - COMPLETE WITH INTRO TABS, SONG CHORDS, AND INTERLUDE TABS

    #############################
    Intro on guitar
    #############################

[Line 1 - Slow (in adlib form, not in time)]

    E -------------------|-------------|----------|
    B -------3-----------|-------------|----------|
    G ---------5-4-2-5-4-|-2-5-4-2-----|----------|
    D -----5-------------|---------5-4-|-2-4-5----|
    A ---5---------------|-------------|----------|
    E -------------------|-------------|----------|

[Line 2 - In time - the first note is on the first count]

    E -------------------|-----------------|
    B -------3-----------|-----------------|
    G ---------5-4-2-5-4-|-2-5-4-2---------|
    D -----5-------------|---------5-4-2-4-|
    A ---5---------------|-----------------|
    E -------------------|-----------------|

The above piece may seem complicated (the beats and timing)
But this is actually a simple 16 note progression, with all notes on time.
The reason why it sounds complicated to count and play is because
the structuring of the counts are not like a typical 1234 1234

Here is the way to count 16 in the above piece

    1 2 - 1 2 3 4 - 1 2 3 - 1 2 3 - 1 2 3 4

Then this is followed by the famous violin ensemble part
which you can play on the guitar as below.
Instead of notes (that i have tabbed), play the chords mentioned below
    Sounds more fuller.

    E ------------------------|---------------------|-------------------|
    B ------------------------|-3-3-3-3-------------|-------------------|
    G ------------4--4--4--4--|---------4--4--4--4--|-4--4--4--4--------|
    D ----5-5-5-5-------------|---------------------|-------------2-4-5-|
    A ------------------------|---------------------|-------------------|
    E ------------------------|---------------------|-------------------|

    ------G-G-G-G-Bm-Bm-Bm-Bm-|-D-D-D-D-Bm-Bm-Bm-Bm-|-Bm-Bm-Bm-Bm-C-D-G-|
    [Chords]

    #############################
    [SONG CHORDS]
    #############################

    [SIGN]

Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas Tum Rehti Ho
    Em--D---G------D----C---D-----G---

Jeevan Meethi Pyaas Yeh Kehti Ho
    G------Bm-----D---------C-----G-- (notes downwards B A G F#)

Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas Tum Rehti Ho
    Em--D---G------D----C---D-----G---

    [PARA 1]

    Har Shyam Aankhon Par
    ----C----------------

    Tera Aanchal Lehraye
    -----D---------------

    Har Raat Yaadon Ki
    ----G-----------C-----

    --D---------G---------

    ------G---------Em-----

    ------G---------Em-----

    What about this??
What key are you playing it?

From the looks of it, you are playing in the scale of F# and not G
So all you have to do is shift every chord and note DOWN by HALF NOTE

    So
    G will become F#
    C will become B
    D will become C#
    Em will become Ebm
    Bm will become Bbm

    THERE WILL BE NO Abm
I dont think the song has an Am in G
Though it sounds good as the last chord in the pal pal dil ke paas line
    Its a D - so in your case its a C#

    cheers

^^^ totally agreed its just a scale difference.. ur posts have really helped me a lot from the time i joined IGT.. thanx Bandbaaja..

just try Am in place where u have used Bm.. then i think we don't have any differences... becoz for me.. Abm goes better than Bbm

    excellent

    Bandbaaja,
no praises can be enough for your stupendous contribution to this forum and this song has been yet another addition to your ever growing repertoire. I would love to see more kishore-RD or kishore-asha/lata-RD combination. Thanks a lot.

LOL YES as in YES it sounds wild

but am not sure where it appears.
Dont have the song with me as of now.

    In those 4 lines
    Main Saans Leta Hoon
    Teri Khushboo Aati Hai
    Ek Mehka Mehka Saa
    Paigam Laati Hai

The B major is in one of those lines, am not sure if it is exactly in the same place i placed it.

Please hear the song the chord is OH SO EVIDENT

    Cheers

    Thumbs up thanks band bhai

    hi man,
thank you very much for the nice post. also pls try to post your recordings man. it would be a lot helpful for us.

thanks again for keeping up the request. do appreciate it.

and the style of the post is awsome man. that's great. please try to give some strumming pattern if you may.

    also i have following doubts:-

    1. In the intro part I could not get the following line.

Here is the way to count 16 in the above piece
    1 2 - 1 2 3 4 - 1 2 3 - 1 2 3 - 1 2 3 4

Do you mean the first bar is 2/4, second is 4/4, third is 3/4,4th is 3/4 and 5th is 4/4?

    2. In the following part, what is the strumming pattern for the following chords. d-u-d-u is it?

Instead of notes (that i have tabbed), play the chords mentioned below
    Sounds more fuller.

    E ------------------------|---------------------|-------------------|
    B ------------------------|-3-3-3-3-------------|-------------------|
    G ------------4--4--4--4--|---------4--4--4--4--|-4--4--4--4--------|
    D ----5-5-5-5-------------|---------------------|-------------2-4-5-|
    A ------------------------|---------------------|-------------------|
    E ------------------------|---------------------|-------------------|

    ------G-G-G-G-Bm-Bm-Bm-Bm-|-D-D-D-D-Bm-Bm-Bm-Bm-|-Bm-Bm-Bm-Bm-C-D-G-|
    [Chords]

sorry for bothering you again man...hope u wdn't mind helping again ...

thanks for the nice posting and u

NO - thats just to help you in understanding the piece
it is a SIMPLE 16 count break up - you can memorise it the way i showed
