a real joke

hey guys i am going to tell u something that happened in real with me
u see i had bought a givson acoustic and was learning it from my teacher
but he saw that i liked heavy metal stuff so he advised me to buy an electric
so i convinced my parents to buy me an electric
i had done browsing and chose the esp f-10
so when i reached mumbai during my summer vacations( my father is posted there)
[and my brother was also there(7 yrs older than me)] i had them almost convinced
but my brother had put his leg in between and said what is the need for buying a 10k guitar
so he convinced them to buy a cheap strat but i still was regretting it
now this is the best part
u see my mother liked playing solitaire on my brother's laptop
so what my father did is he bought her a netbook
and for what----PLAYING SOLITAIRE
i was completely pi**ed off
now post ur comments
what do u think happened wid me
and was it right
(i am 14 and i sumtym think that i am over reacting
but this was unfair)

hilarious! it's funny a similar thing once happened to me and i was a kid then and i'd gotten very pissed too
but then i realized it doesn't really matter what guitar you play as a beginner coz you wont be able to do sht with it anyway

Don't worry, adults (so what if they are your parents) can be actually more "kiddish" than you in lots of aspects.

I understand that buying a netbook of 15K is a total waste if it was solely for playing solitaire! (For me, and looks like for you too)
Similarly spending 10K for a guitar is a total waste to your bro and your parents.

Besides, why do you fret and fume, its their money, and you are just living off it, be happy for the fact that you at least got a guitar ...
