    i don't think facebook is a short-term passing fad...everyone uses it for all kinds of perverted socializing pleasures. it's become a part of their "real life".

    yeah but orkut wasn't even half as neat and organized as facebook is. also, many people i know chose not to use orkut even during its peak..whereas in the case of facebook now i hardly know even a few people who continue without a facebook profile because in most social circles it has become mandatory.

    Good Idea.. i too left FB as i can better enjoy forums for guitars.. games and many things :D
