Guitar Strumming -- Please help

Hi Friends, this is Rajesh; I have an acoustic and electric guitars at home and i wont use them on regular basis, reason i dont understand the art of strumming of the guitar. Can someone please help me in finding the videos related to indian guitar strumming and the basic strumming techniques. I know all the chords but cant do strumming much.

here is a song my friend and i just covered the chords starting at the verse are... Cmajor, G major, and Dmajor with an added pinky on the sus4 note on the 3rd fret high E string. Try to copy the rhythm by ear. Practice it slow and speed it up. this will make your timing strong!
