If it is termites, which I doubt, I don't think you can do anything except throw it away. You would've seen them if it was. Have you had termites in your house as well?

If you dont want to throw your guitar. Try applyin anti termite solution. Just apply it with cotton and this will prolong ur guitar life but reduce some feel from the tone. But its ok..U can still use it...

Take a stick with some cotton and solution on it and shove it in the sound hole and apply it everywhere on the inside surface.

I hate repeating myself - but a guitar is primarily a piece of wood.
What happens when there is a problem with a piece of wood?

You show it to a carpenter.
He will know what has got in, and remedial steps.

Of course if you are like Eric Johnson, then you may have problems with someone pouring few milli-litres of liquid into wood.
That may change the TONE (if you have his ears).
But then Mr Eric Johnson, the creatures inside have already eroded few milli-grams of wood - which has anyway changed the tone of your guitar!

And of course there is no harm is following what Mymusic... has written.

BJR: you can salvage wood from termites. You just need to realize how they got in ... and keep the stuff away from them.

wood, yes (and even that at an early stage). Guitar? Probably not...for the very reason you said. By the time you realize there are termites, a good part has already been eaten away. It's not as solid or thick as an almirah or a table.

Termites add to the toan. Fun fact: Termites eat away at a higher speed when stimulated by heavy metal.
