I have joined this group newly and i'm a great fan of hindi songs..

Today i want to share my passion to the song

"Nile nile amber par.." from Kalakaar, with you all..

I mean there are a few guitar fans who are not familiar and impressed with the great piece of guitarwork in this song, aint..? its marvellous.

My question is : who has played/composed the masterpiece of guitarwork in this song???? does anyone know this?

and also .. there is confusion about the music directors, Is it the great Kalyanji-aanandji duo or Bhappi-da?

It will be a great favour for me and all the guitar fans if someone share their knowledge about this song here..

Hi Aesha, welcome to IGT. Nile nile amber par has excellent guitar work, im afraid i do not know who actually played the guitar as for the music directors i think it was Kalyanji duo.

Dont know who played guitar in that song...but Music director was Kalyan Ji - Anand Ji Duo...

u might not know who is the real music director of this song because people say that:

Well I am really surprised to read that it might be a copied one..
I am also a fan of illyaraja's music,it's so much full of harmony! - and I would liike to here his version too, unfortunately i dont have means at present to do that, anyway..

hey reems that's a surprising piece of information which i am sure most people don't know. though interludes have different shapes in neele ambar but surely inspired from this very song. thanks for the update. aesha keep on looking for the guitarist name and please do post it when u get it.

ooooff! i've found it. the genius player behind that song was Bhupindar, of Bhupinder-mitali duo, and well i must say its far more rich in harmony & in spirit than dubbed tamil original version..

I think this beautiful song has borrowed chords and tune really nicely
from Simon & Garfunkel's The Sound of Silence. I play both off and on
and I see a lot of similarity there.
