    Lightbulb Newbieeee need assitance

    Hi Guys,

    I am very new to guitar.....its just i am very inclined in learning and owning a guitar.

    Have been searching about this since a long time and i have come across a guy who is selling an acoustic guitar Brand Name : ROLF Brand new condition for 2,800/- can you please advise is it worth a buy or should not be considered.

    Also if not this any other that u all can suggest or if any 1 has to sell of their old please let me know.

    Are you sure it's not the ROTFL guitar? j/k

    The ROLF guitar would cost you around 3.5k new i guess. Rest it depends on the model. So 2800 for a used guitar is not justified in my opinion. You're better off buying a new one at that price. See if you can afford the guitars mentioned in the above post. They are gonna last you a long time.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the quick replies.... as per him its a brand new unused one and has few in stock as he had purchased in bulk from some importer.

    He claims its for 4.5 in market and its imported from china.

    Attached is the image.. honestly i am very keen in learning but don’t know how long will i be able to peruse hence don’t want invest too much...ya obv once i am very sure of playing it i can progress on this.

    hence looking for a decent in low budget..

    The guitar looks good. why dont u just take along a guitar player with you to test that guitar. 2800 for that guitar is a pretty decent amount if the guitar is new/unused. and if u dont want to spend much then go ahead and buy that. Check for any problems with the guitar. Again take someone(guitar player) along with u

    Where in mumbai are you from? if u r close to kandivali. i can help u out...

    I stay in Andheri east...this person is in new Mumbai but has arrange to keep d guitar it in Kalina.........
    my observation for it was : - A small amount of rust on the stings, baki was neat and clean he did some setting and tuning and he played it sounded fine, size was 40" i guess but perfect as i am 6.0 and a bit healthy.

    Look 2800 for a guitar which he claims to be unused is a pretty decent deal considering the price for which u get brand new guitars. Even the indian Hobmer comes for around 3300 or slightly less.

    Go ahead and buy it coz its cheap and from the looks of it it looked pretty decent to me!!!! See if he negotiates further!!!
