need some help with bending...

i need some help here. when i put on a lot of distortion and try bending a string,
the string above it also rings a bit. Should i palm mute it??? You can hardly make it
out when i put a clean tone.

You do what most rock musicians do - Use two fingers. One for bending, and the other bending this as well as the string above. This will also allow you to mute the above string if it rinfgs.
