I Am Looking For The Guitar Chords Of The Song Dilbara Dilbara Apan Ki Tu.............

5. look up on the internet or on this forum for basic chord theory
furthermore you will also need to learn scales and intervals.

but here's the jist of it:

you have a scale, lets say C major, this will determine the notes and the chords that you are allowed to play. For desi music scale = rag, although its more complex since the ascents and descents are always different, kinda like the minor scale

the notes of C major are C, D, E, F, G, A and B

each of these notes make up the root of a chord

dependant on the position of each of these notes in the scale affects its chord type

so in C Major scale the chords become:
Cmaj Dmin Emin Fmaj Gmaj Amin Bdim

however the 7th note is sometimes flattended by one semitone and converted into a major so Bdim becomes Bb/A# major

Also if you have the note E then these are the chords you can play:
C maj, Emin and Amin.

This is because of the triad chord theory which states that all chords are made up of three notes.
Cmaj = C E G
Emin = E B G
Amin = A C E

but look through this forum (Beginners Q&A) for more detailed info and something that may sound less confusing

hope that helps!

7. what do you mean by yh right?

8. That's a good question and some simple formula will clarify it.

All Major Scales follow this simple rule.

F F H --- F --- F F H

It's like a pair of Full Full Half Steps separated by one Full Step.

So a C Major Scale would be

C (F) -> D (F) -> E (H) -> F (F) -> G (F) -> A (F) -> B (H) -> C

So the scale would be C D E F G A B C.

Apply the same thing to other notes as well.

Now count the above scale as 1 down to 8 and wrapping around to 1.

So a C Major Chord formula is 1 3 5 = C E G
A C Minor Chord formula is 1 b3 (Read it as Flat 3) and 5 = C D# G

Take a C Major and add the 7th, to get the 7th.

These simple theories are pretty important.

I suggest you do the scales and then learn the chords. This method is not adopted usually but this method really rocks.
