HEY BUDDY TRY TO REFER TO THIS SITE http://www.christianguitar.org/ ONCE THE PAGE OPENS MOVE DOWN ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE SEARCH FOR GUITAR - CHORDS/ LESSONS,IT MIGHT HELP U
loook dude there are a lot of lessons avalible, u shud start with scales,
ok now what is a scale, example the indian -sa re ga ma is a scale, called c
major, a scale gets its name by the root note or the first note here sa(equal to c)
and major and minor depends on the interval between the notes.major scale have a happy sounding, while minor tend to sound sad,
a major scale is made like this, pick any fret on ur guitar (preferebly the first fret) and after that follow this pattern
whole means a distance of two fret, and half one fret,
like the first fret and the third fret of any string will be at a whole note's distance
like u play the first fret of the first string(thinnest)
then according to the pattern u'll play
and the first fret of the thinnest string is an f note,
hence the scale will be called f major, try this with any fret and keep the same pattern. u'll hear the same sa re ga ma....
but they will have diffrent pitches,
and now the minor scales,
this will construct a minor scale, now practice this theory,
**note- at some places whole note is also referred as tone, and half as semi-tone.
now each string when played without fretting(also called played open)
it has a note,
starting from the thickest - E A D G B E
u can remember it by --Every Animated Day Goes By Easy
now the fifth fret of the second string is equal to the first string(thinnest)
similarly the third string's fourth fret is equal to second string played open,
now do one thing, press the fifth fret of ur second string and try to play the first and the second string open, the sound resonates?? (if ur guitar is tuned properly)
now u can use this to expand ur scales from a single string, like ur scale may start from the 5th fret and end at the second.
and now the distance between notes,
A B C D E F G
this means the notes written far away occur at a distance of two frets,
like if f note is at the first fret then third fret will be g, and fifth A , and seventh B ,but eight fret will be C,
now i have told u a lot, and now it's time 4 u to get confused,
ask whatever doubts u have, i or someone else will get back to u,
and get clear with scales first, then i'll tell u about chords
