i wanne learn playing an E-Guitar, but someone told i gotta learn playing a Classic Guitar first..
do i really need to do that?!
ans: well you don't exactly need to learn classical guitar first,learning the steel string guitar will be fine, and the most appropiate.
if u direclty start on elec. u will face problems, so start on a acoustic guitar
then after approx 2 years u can graduate to an electric guitar.
and trust me ur gonna love acoustic guitar.

to know abt the parts of guitars
guitar size. guitars are avalible in various sizes, dreadnought,jumbo, mini jumbo, grand auditorium(parlour)
the most common is dreadnougt, a large body guitar. with more of bass sound, considered ideal for rythm playing.
jumbo, almost same size. but the upper bout is similar to the lower bout.
grand auditorium- smallest sized guitar, ideal for fingerpicking
ps:-when u luk at a guitar, u see a depression in the middle, the portion above the deppression is called upper bout , and below is called the lower bout.
and a cutaway guitar has a deppression near the neck to allow ur fingers to access the higher frets
now while buying a guitar, u shud luk for a one which has solid top,
top is that portion of the guitar which has the sound hole, ans is responsible for the quality of the sound,
