    9K for a Bass??

    Hi,
    I'm from Bangalore and I'm planning to buy a new bass guitar. As I'm a rookie, I was suggested to buy a new GB&A bass guitar. I found out that a GB&A bass costs around 9k But i also found out that i could get a basic Yamaha or Ibanez basses for 'bout 11-12k.
    Is it worth paying 9000 for a GB&A bass or should i buy a better brand for a slightly higher price?
