Do we have moderators here on IGT? I'd love to know their names(usernames).

Everyone coz i post in all forums... We all have the right to know who are the moderators .. nothing to hide in this..

we have a moderator for guitar gear talk forum who was last active in march 2012... does it makes sense to be active once in a blue moon?

if we don't have moderators can we at least expect a reasonably active admin?...

I come in here at least once a day to check the activities. Only when I'm held up with something very important, I miss the schedule.

no, nothing in particular, just that there were some spam threads that were lying there for a few days but i see you took care of it.

any reason you choose not to have moderators though, if i may ask?

well no, the only reason i asked was because i noticed these days the promotional/spam threads have been going up a lot and sometimes when they aren't cleared for days, they make the forum look pretty dead and lifeless.

i was wondering if we could have a minimum post count or time elapsed after registration before you could post a thread? although that would deter beginners from asking questions ..

@Morbid - We had a pretty strong Captcha, but seems like hackers have found a way to get past the CAPTCHA. There is an increase in SPAM posts, and I prune it every now and then. Guess it's time to get some new moderators on board .

I'll shoot out a mail sometime soon.
